How the hub works
- Batteries charge in sequence, with the fuller battery prioritised.
- The hub’s power accumulation function moves remaining energy into a higher-charged battery; it does not create extra energy.
- The hub can supply power to external devices. Follow its instructions for mode changes and battery handling.
- The power adapter is separate. Match it and the cable to the hub’s USB-C power requirements.
Choose the power source
DJI recommends its 65W Portable Charger, 100W USB-C Power Adapter, or a USB-C PD supply rated at least 60W for efficient charging. The shape of a USB-C connector alone does not establish its power capability.
Isolate a charging fault
No batteries charge
Check the outlet, adapter, cable and hub input before blaming all the packs.
One pack fails
Only if undamaged, compare it with a known-good pack in the same setup. Interpret lights using the hub instructions.
One bay behaves differently
Record the bay and indicator behaviour; do not force contacts or dismantle the hub.
Battery features remain separate
An Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery is compatible with Air 3S, but Off-State QuickTransfer is unavailable with that battery installed. A shared hub does not remove that aircraft feature limitation.
