Safe first inspection
- Power down and remove the battery only if it is safe to handle.
- Do not recharge or reuse an impact-damaged battery.
- Inspect every propeller, motor mount, arm, hinge, shell joint and battery latch.
- Check the gimbal, camera and sensor windows without forcing movement.
- Do not launch merely to see whether it still flies.
Follow the symptom
Vibration or motor noise
Check propellers, shafts, motor mounts and arms; a blade replacement alone may not resolve impact damage.
Tilted horizon or gimbal error
Calibration cannot repair a bent mount, torn cable or damaged assembly.
Sensor or battery-retention warning
Treat persistent warnings or a damaged latch as a reason for assessment before flight.
Repair boundary
User-replaceable genuine propellers are a different task from opening the aircraft. Camera, gimbal, arm, motor and shell repairs can require calibration, specialist tooling and post-repair flight-safety checks.
